Bio

Beth  and I started out in Ohio dreaming of a life in Arizona in 1975.  Three years later, without knowing anyone here or even having any job prospects (and only $800) we decided to "go for it."  Amazingly, because of my former experience working on jet engine parts at Parker Hannifin in Cleveland, Gates Learjet hired me in Tucson to design their aircraft dash consoles.  Beth on the other hand, went from working for Southwest Gas to IBM.

Along the way we bought a one acre lot east of town and had a house built in 1982.  Without any kids, a two bedroom seemed fine, thinking the extra bedroom was for friends to crash in.  In 1989 we decided it was time to do the family thing.   The next year our first of two daughters was born.  After much discussion I became a "Mr. Mom."  Three years later number two came along.  We expanded that extra bedroom and now  our best friends, our girls , crash there!

I have always seemed to have the knack to take some pretty cool shots with various film cameras.  Recently, armed with the new 10.8 megapixel Sony DSLR-A100 camera, I was persuaded by a friend of Beth's at IBM to share my photos of this incredible desert we live in.  So, between my "Mr. Mom" time and the help of our daughters this endeavor began.  The rest is ongoing history.
